This is one of the cooler things I have seen all season. A real, in the moment exchange between two players during a crucial part of the game.

Cam to Clay Matthews before TD pass: 'Watch this' - NFL.com

The exchange:
Matthews: "It's that wheel route. It's that wheel route. I've studied too."

Newton: "You've been watching film, huh?"

Matthews: "Oh yeah."

Newton: "That's cool. Watch this..." (throws touchdown on fake wheel, slant to McCaffrey)

You can make out most of the exchange in the video above. I'm curious if you could hear it live or if that is edited after? Would be cool if you could hear more things like this during the game. I bet nobody was able to notice it during the game over Aikman's talking.

Sound FX and Inside the NFL both on NFL Network have that kind of stuff all the time, I know it isn't the same as seeing it live like you are describing but I agree those types of exchanges are really cool..

My favorite Patriot one last season was when Julian Edelman went off on a referee then settled down and apologized to the referee and told him how he was working on his issues with a therapist.

Loved it! Love Cam!

Really pleased with all of the Panthers that give so much back to the community - Olsen, Newton, Davis, and on and on!

I observed some very gentle tackling of Rogers. I thought it was very classy on the Panthers behalf. In Namath's last days of playing he was tackled very gently and then given a hand to get back up.
