No, the AFC is bad. Ok, maybe 'bad' is open for interpretation, but inferior for sure versus the NFC. Jacksonville and Kansas City aren't winning in Foxboro. I don't care what happened when the Chiefs played there a full four months ago. If that game is relative, then it should be relative that the Chiefs couldn't beat the Giants two months ago when they desperately needed to at that point in time.

The Patriots are again the Saturday night game in two weeks. The Steelers are in the early time slot Sunday. The Eagles play Saturday afternoon and the Vikings play later on Sunday, but not at night; there was some talk last year when the Steelers-Chiefs game got moved to Sunday night because of the weather, that the NFL wanted to try and stick with that time format going forward. Thank god they apparently decided against it.

If we look at how the 6 playoff teams in the AFC did in their inter-conference games vs. the NFC, then this year the NFC was clearly the better conference. AFC playoff teams went 12-12 vs. NFC while NFC playoff teams went 18-6 vs. AFC.

Los Angeles and Carolina both went 4-0 while no AFC team went 4-0. New England and Pittsburgh both went 3-1. Only Atlanta had a losing record vs. the AFC while Jacksonville and Tennessee both had losing records vs. the NFC.
