I strictly voted on who the best five players were among the choices. IMO they are Joe Jacoby, Tony Boselli, Ray Lewis, Randy Moss, and Terell Owens.

early group voting are four that I think will make it.....sadly my guy Lynch doesn't have a chance, imo - he was a Pro Bowler, SB champ and key player/leader on the good Bucs' defenses, but that's not enough....I didn't even vote for him.....I don't know the stats, but Bruce was damn impressive during his career - don't know where he stands all time.

The problem Bruce is gonna have is the same one he has had for years.. other WRs on the ballet.. Moss is a no brainer as is Owens IMO... Bruce would come after those 2 and to be honest, most voters may not want to vote for 3 WRs on the same ballet...

My personal favorite to get in this year would be Everson Walls.. led the league in INTs 3 times and finished with 57.. which at the time of his retirement was top 10 and should still be close to top 10 today...

He was never considered a shutdown corner but certainly had ball hawking skills. He was All Pro only once which will hurt him considerably but the biggest strike against him will be his not being in the Cowboys Ring of Honor... I expect most voters will look at that and say, 'well, if he is not good enough for the Cowboys ROH, then he is not good enough for the HOF... '

Not a single vote for Edgerrin James yet? His numbers are pretty darn good for a RB.

I was only allowed to vote for one option. I went with T.O.

Once Moss gets in, he will become the 14th (predominately) Viking to make the HOF, trailing only the Dallas (15) and Oakland/Pittsburgh (16) franchises since 1961 when the Vikings entered the league. What started with a feeling of pride when Fran and Page and Bud, is evolving into a bit of an embarrassment with their lack of a championship.

Trivia Challenge! Trivia Challenge!

Which team (excluding late comers Atlanta (66), Cincinnati (68), Carolina (95) and Baltimore (96)) is tied with the least number (3) of personnel in the HOF with Philadelphia, New Orleans/Tampa (also late comers) since the establishment of the AFL in 1960?

answer:

Spoiler
New England Patriots: John Hannah, Mike Haynes, Andre Tippett

hint:

Spoiler
Nick Buoniconti also played with them but not quite as long as he did for Miami

My immediate guess is the Seahawks. I can think of Cortez Kennedy but that's it. They had a couple of really good O-lineman in the early 2000s but I'm not sure if they are in yet.

Although not mentioned by Ghengis.. the Seahawks and Bucs would be Late comers... their franchises started in 76?
Steve Largent was the first Seahawk in the HOF, i believe.

Ah, Patriots. Good one. Wilfork, adam vinatieri, Moss, Gronk, Brady, maybe Welker and/or Edleman. That list will triple in size within the next decade.
