As an Eagles fan, I would think that Doug Pedersen will get a lot of consideration for coach of the year - but there are other worthy candidates.

He hasn't looked like coach of the year since Wentz went down....

He'll get some votes but McVay will be the winner this year....

Like the MVP (which really doesn't go to the most "valuable" player) Coach of the Year doesn't go to the "best" coach, it goes to the "newest coach who had the biggest turn around that no one saw coming"

If it truly went to the "best" coach Belichick would have won a dozen of them by now....

Since Wentz went down, Foles led the comeback that beat the Rams, they beat the Giants and the Raiders, and the 2nd stringers lost to the Dallas 1st stringers 6-0.
So, technically, Pederen is 3-1 since Wentz went down.

Fair point, but I still think McVay will get it.

I guess McVay didn't do a very good job last night.
