Thursday night games are meaningless because there’s nothing special about them.

I think ditching TNF and the London games would improve the NFL's ratings. The NFL is oversaturated right now. There's too much coverage. Hell Monday Night Football has fallen so far that it wouldn't bother me if they canceled it, too. Sean McDonough is terrible.

NFL games aren't over saturated and it's a short season anyhow. Thursday NFL games are still among the highest prime time rated programs this past fall: between third and fifth depending on which network. If you don't like them, don't watch. I won't even be watching every play of the Super Bowl. But for all the ratings declines, there are a ton of enterprises who would love if their biggest problems were the ones possessed by the NFL. And furthermore, Buck and Aikman aren't broadcasting the Thursday games. Buck, even McDonough? Some of you need to mute your TVs. I don't think anybody would make you happy.

Buck and Aikman likely won't call Thursday games.

MNF is not going anywhere and itís been around since 1970

And even if they ditch TNF and London games it may not improve ratings a lot if at all
