-So what happened to Eagles-Vikings to start the season? Either the NFL did an about-face, or the media really blew it.
-No Giants-Cowboys to open Sunday Night Football. Thank god- so sick of that shoved down our throats- then again NBC and the NFL couldn't wait too long. We'll get that in week 2. And while its a great rivalry, Bears-Packers for that first Sunday Night Football game is sort of weird. But I guess its best to get Chicago on prime time when they are 0-0 and not 2-8.
-Patriots-Packers on SNF in November. Aaron Rodgers has never played in Foxboro.
-Patriots at Steelers in week 15 in 2017. Patriots at Steelers in week 15 in 2018.
-49ers scheduled twice on SNF. Twice on MNF (once on Thursday night also). I guess everybody is buying in to the end-of-the-year upswing and Jimmy Garoppolo.
-The Raiders end their second tenure in Oakland, playing its last three home games against probably its biggest three rivals from its heyday of the 70s and early 80s: Chiefs, Steelers, and Broncos. The Raiders close out on the road at the Chiefs.
-Thursday night lineup is hit-or-miss. There are some intriguing looking match-ups, including Patriots-Colts if Luck is healthy. Panthers-Steelers. On the other end of the spectrum, there is also Jets-Browns. Yuck.

Jets vs. Browns will actually be must see TV if the #1 and #3 overall picks are going against each other. But the game is early in the season so at least one will probably be on the bench still if not both.

I bought tickets to the Steeler game. First time in the Oakland Coliseum since 2011. Hoping Chucky can bring back the magic!!
