Somewhere on this slate is a tie game just waiting to happen.

No, the Steelers will not go 0-3. They could go 0-2-1 though. Remember that tie we're all so excited about?

My picks for week 3:

Jets @ Browns: Browns. Call me crazy but I think they break through this week.

Saints @ Falcons: Falcons. Both teams have played some ugly football early, but both have the potential to get it in gear and finish strong.

Packers @ Redskins: Packers. I'm not sure how I can pick the Redskins after a 9 point performance against a lackluster Colts defense.

Colts @ Eagles: Eagles. The Champs don't look great but they should be able to find some traction against a Colts team that isn't very good.

Bills @ Vikings: Vikings. I think Vontae Davis retiring mid-game can galvanize a team, but it won't be enough to beat a better Vikings team playing at home.

Raiders @ Dolphins: Dolphins. So far I've picked against them twice and here they sit at 2-0. I hate the Raiders. Maybe I should pick them.

Broncos @ Ravens: Broncos. Vance Joseph made some comments about how the Broncos defense is designed to play. I suspect this unit is poised for a breakout game.

Bengals @ Panthers: Bengals. I was not a believer before the season started but in the early goings of 2018 they look like the best team in the North and it's not close.

Giants @ Texans. Texans. My weekly nemesis, the Giants. Maybe I should pick a tie here.

Titans @ Jaguars: Jaguars. They are picking up where they left off last year. The defense is top flight and Blake Bortles looks pretty solid as well.

49ers @ Chiefs: Chiefs. After a 2-0 start in two road games, one against a team that has basically owned them in recent years, the Chiefs are going to be unstoppable in their home opener.

Chargers @ Rams: Rams. This one should be good theater. The Chargers have the potential to be great on both sides of the ball. The Rams already are.

Cowboys @ Seahawks: Seahawks. Home opener after an 0-2 road start sees the Seahawks set to work on salvaging their season.

Bears @ Cardinals: Bears. With a good young QB and a defense that looks ferocious, this Chicago team bears watching. (See what I did there?)

Patriots @ Lions: Patriots. Probably in a run away win.

Steelers @ Buccaneers: Buccaneers. With the way Fitz has played in a 2-0 start, Winston isn't going to get a chance to win back his starting job.

Good luck to everyone in week 3! Except the Ravens, of course!
