Here's my work so far:

Week 1: 9-7 (9-6)
Week 2: 8-8 (8-7)
Week 3: 7-9
Week 4: 9-6
Week 5: 9-6
Week 6: 10-5
Week 7: 10-4
Total: 62-45 (62-43)

My picks for week 8:

Dolphins @ Texans: Texans. They are wrestling control of the AFC South. The Dolphins started fast but have been a bit inconsistent in recent weeks. Sort of the opposite of the Texans.

Eagles @ Jaguars: Jaguars. I can't figure out either of these teams. Of course, based on my record so far I guess I could say that about the 30 other teams as well.

Redskins @ Giants: Redskins. While I thought the Smith signing was a good one, I wasn't really a believer in this team this past offseason. But a win here puts them solidly out in front for the NFC East title.

Broncos @ Chiefs: Chiefs. As much as I want to believe the Broncos have turned the corner, the smart pick is the Chiefs. Especially if their defense plays a game as good as they did against the Bengals.

Seahawks @ Lions: Seahawks. Here's another team that I was cool on in the off season but is piecing together enough plays to put themselves in the thick of the playoff chase.

Buccaneers @ Bengals: Bengals. If you're going off of uniform color schemes this is going to be a really ugly game. Bengals rebound after being taken to the woodshed by the Chiefs.

Jets @ Bears: Bears. They need this one to keep up in what is shaping up to be a crowded NFC North.

Ravens @ Panthers: Ravens. Like the Bears, the Ravens play in a crowded division. Things aren't much easier for the Panthers. Ravens top shelf defense delivers in this one.

Browns @ Steelers. Steelers. You know the Browns have this one circled. It's tempting to pick a tie.

Colts @ Raiders: Colts. Gruden swears the Raiders aren't tanking. But if you're not tanking and you're still that bad...

49ers @ Cardinals: 49ers. This season hasn't panned out for either team but the 49ers have shown more fight through the adversity.

Packers @ Rams: Rams. Their offense isn't as impressive as the Chiefs but pretty good in its own right and the defense seems to be finding its stride as well. This is the best team in the league right now.

Saints @ Vikings: Saints. Good matchup between two good teams. Saints make a statement by outshooting the Cousins-led Vikings.

Patriots @ Bills. Patriots. Anything can happen in the NFL. ANYTHING. So when I say the Bills can pull the upset, I am merely acknowledging the outside possibility of that happening. More likely, this is a bloodletting.

Good luck everyone! Happy viewing in week 8!
