I figured Gruden's just after the #1 draft pick, but the team wouldn't have to play THIS bad to just lose. Is he trying to get fired so he can walk away with $100 million? This seems like a bad dream, and I'm a Raider Hater.

I heard someone say that the Raiders may be paying a long game - sucking now, but putting themselves in the hunt by the time they get to Vegas. For their sake I hope that's the plan because they flat quit tonight.
Has Gruden been a bit of a disappointment or is it just too soon to expect much improvement from the team?? Getting who he wants in place likely takes a while...

I think it is far beyond improvement, this team has regressed and last night they completely quit IMO. The team they were playing is in the same boat as them but they have at least been competitive after Jimmy G got hurt.

Yes...SFs Kid Mullins (think that's his name) had a great first showing last night. He was teary after the game...no wonder.
Qback maybe should be concerned about his awesome performance...

The offense played with effort, I thought.. The defense did not.
I think Gruden's goal here is to tank, get the 1st or 2nd draft pick and next year is a 'rookie' campaign.. And they're eyeing a return to form for 2020 when they debut in Vegas.
I think there's just no care at all as to how they do this year or next. After all, they don't even know where they will be playing home games next year.
What they do know is what happened with the Golden Knights in Vegas, and that Vegas will rally behind a winning team. so, they want to make sure that they have a winning team on the field for their first year in Vegas.
