He has Diggs and Thielen, two GREAT receivers. Where is Ghengis at? Hahahaha...

The joke is on the Minnesota Vikings, because this team has lost any semblance of a running threat, the defense overall has taken a step back in 2018, and most importantly, nothing in Kirk Cousins' career told you he was a guy worth a fully guaranteed, $30-mil+ deal. And I was a Cousins backer for years, but the Skins were right not to pay him (just should have cut bait sooner instead of the tag fiasco)...

You don't pay for a guy to take you from what you were (NFC Championship Game) to barely clinging to playoff hopes. He's had some good performances, but the Vikings are 0-7 versus teams with winning records. 0-7!

Pete Carroll is getting serious COY burn; Wilson played terribly but has proven he's one of the best QBs in The League (and ironically the best from that c/o 2012 that also included Cousins); Bobby Wagner is the best linebacker of this generation. He gets the edge over Kuechly because he hasn't had the injury history Luke has had, Wagner is unreal. Seattle has won 8 of 11 since starting 0-2 and being left for dead by the media. Two of their losses in this 8/11 stretch were to LA by a combined 7 points; their five losses have been by a total of 25 points; they've won five games by 11+ points and the only team to hang 30 on them this year has been the Rams (twice); they are 4-3 on the road. The Hawks are a threat...

For comparison, Bears have allowed 30 three times, lost four games by a combined 14 points, won four games by 10+ points, and are a .500 road team (3-3). The Cowboys are the only team to not allow 30 points this year, lost five games by a combined 39 points, only have one blowout 10+ victory, and are 2-4 on the road. All three teams are capable...

Has anyone else noticed sharper defensive play down the stretch, league-wide? Both the Saints and Rams have good personnel, but there are going to be at least three, maybe four elite defenses in the NFC tournament (Dallas, Chicago, and Seattle all Top 6 in scoring D; Minnesota is 12). These defenses create turnovers and play well on 3rd downs and in the red zone. The NFC playoffs is going to be exciting, Rams and Saints still favorites because they'll have the home games, but both of their offenses are going to have to beat great defenses to get to the SB...

I think its anyone's guess for the NFC. Seattle to me has turned into a legitimate contender, just like Chicago and Dallas, because if how they play defense. That is a real team, and the Wild Card is going to be either Seattle/Dallas or Seattle/Chicago. They have the most dominant run offense in football, and between Dallas (Dak) and Chicago (Trubisky), we know either three will be on the road in the Divisionals, if the Rams and Saints are scoring points at home and its turning into a game where your offense needs to make plays and score, do you want Dak, Trubisky, or Wilson? Only one of those three guys has shown he can be up to that task...

I think any of those teams can upset the Top 2, but it's going to come down to which one can weather the storm on the road (LA will not turn it over four times and score 6 at home; NO will not be limited to just 10 points at home, like the Bears and Cowboys did both) when those teams offenses are clicking, and which one of the three can have enough offense to keep the ball away, limit turnovers, and score touchdowns. There is going to be at least one major upset in the NFC bracket, maybe more. I can't wait, but I genuinely feel any of the Top 5 (NO/LA/Chi/Dal/Sea) can win the NFC...

Ghengis is like Voldemort. He disappears for a while... then reappears.

He's around, check the Packer thread where he posted a picture of Danica. Pretty funny guy, unfortunately I don't have the imagination he does or I would be on the Vikings thread today!

Once I got his sense of humor, I actually miss him when he isn't posting! How about those Vikings!

Week 14: 9-7

Season: 131-75

Instead of a few us wildly pulling ahead this looks like a horse race where we are all beginning to get bunched in a pack.

Going to be a close finish for top three if this keeps up
