Old age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill.

I knew it would be a good game but I didn't expect such a teeter-totter! What a great game. Good going KC.

Two amazing games to set up a Super Bowl rematch. And of course both games gave a lot of extra fodder to the “League is rigged” crowd.

The Saints definitely got jobbed in that noncall toward the end. What a shame because it was otherwise a great game. The AFC game had a few tough calls but they weren’t nearly as bad as that defining noncall in the NFC game.

I’ve said all season long that Chiefs defense would be a liability. They actually played a halfway decent game, but just couldn’t get a stop on 3 consecutive 3rd and longs. Tough because with the game 28-24 in their favor the Chiefs were 43 seconds away from a trip to the Super Bowl!

I think in the AFC title game, there were enough bad calls in each direction to cancel out any talk about the NFL being rigged. It was a great game between two great teams and it all played out on the field.

Hell of a game.

The roughing the passer call was b.s. but I hope there's not much made of overturning the muffed punt call because it's clear that Edelman didn't touch the ball between all the replay angles. You also can't rig Dee Ford lining up in the neutral zone. Chiefs had the game won and blew it.

Yeah that penalty negated a game winning play. It’s going to be a long off season for Ford.

Would have been so fitting for the Chiefs to bring the Lamar Hunt (Chiefs founder/owner who died in 2006) trophy home. Congrats to the Pats. Chiefs gave them a run for their money, though. And Mahomes just makes me smile.
