Depending on who is announcing on TV, I do like listening to Wayne and Larry, a great duo on the radio!

Why would I want someone to describe a great catch when I can see it for myself on TV?

Yes I do too, if Buck and Aikman are announcing I'd rather turn on the radio and listen to Wayne and Larry than Buck/Aikman

You certainly see more on TV however I would take the excitement and energy of being in person over TV any day of the week. Only sport I hate watching on TV is Ice Hockey. Sometimes hard to follow the puck.

TV for sure. Way too much good technology to ignore.

However, radio... whenever I'm away from the tube!

Actually mis-read the thread title when I posted above. Thought it asked TV versus Live. Of course I would take TV over radio on just about anything.

As others have said, it depends on the announcer. There is such a thing as "theater of the mind", which allows the radio listener to "picture" the game as described, which can be an enjoyable experience. The radio teams of most NFL teams are quite good...for a reason. They realize many can't watch due to work and such, and there is even a sub-culture who turn the TV audio off and listen to the radio, but some broadcasts are slightly delayed these days, making that option unacceptable.

I've begun to enjoy Tony Romo in the booth now. He has a lot of insight and makes the games more interesting.
