Colts looking better than the Texans, I really want the Colts to win. Big mistake by the Texans QB, on 4th down near the goal line, go for something easy.

Texans over the Colts. Yah the Colts are hot and they just won in Houston a few weeks ago blah blah blah. This is a team that was a Nick Foles 2 minute drill drive away from not even playing in this game and the Colts would've been sent to the slaughter in Foxborough, so Luck should be buying Foles a nice steak dinner in the offseason for at least having a chance to advance. But the Texans win late 21-17

Cowboys over Seahawks. I think the Seahawks are better and should win, but I get nervous in the playoffs when the majority of picks are on the road team, just usually does not turn out well. So I'll take the Cowboys 24-14.

Ravens over Chargers. Yup, Chargers are probably going to play better on the road, and this is Lamar Jackson's first foray into the playoffs, and he'll come to find out its a completely different animal than the regular season is, and look at the back half of the Ravens schedule when Jackson got inserted as starter and it wasn't exactly the cream of the crop in the NFL. But defense wins championships, and the Ravens D will carry the Ravens to the divisional round 14-10. Regardless of who wins, I think either team beats BOTH New England or Kansas City next week, so whoever wins this game is one of my picks to make the AFC Championship game.

Beagles over the Panda Bears. I think it's only a matter of time until Foles turns back into a pumpkin. He's been in the league for what 7, 8, 9 years?? He had 1 career superb season with the Eagles, but the other years he's been either a backup or a mediocre QB. Some people just live for the playoff moment and maybe Foles is that player. With that said this is another game where most of the picks are on the road team and that scares me, but I think at least 1 road teams win, and so far I've picked 3 home teams, so I'll end the year picking the Super Bowl Champs, but the Bears are getting the Rodney Dangerfield "nobody respects us" treatment and that is scary. Eagles 28-24

Home field is such a huge advantage! In a neutral setting, I think Seattle wins a close game. I don't think Dallas is better defensively, but Dallas has more play makers on offense. If Seattle had an Elliot type running back, or a better offensive line they likely would have won. Still, pretty good for a rebuilding year.

Oh man, I've been away for a few days. Didn't know we were continuing into the playoffs.

Well, I would have picked the Colts and Seahawks before yesterdays games so I guess I'd be 1-1 so far.

For today I will go with the Chargers and Eagles.

This is a case of picking who I want to win as opposed to who I think will win.
