I'm reminded of this...

"Tonight, a dynasty is born, Baby!"
(St. Louis) Rams WR Ricky Proehl, just before Super Bowl XXXVI, January 2002)

Turns out, Ricky was right. But... not quite in the way he intended!

Today is the 24th of January, 2019. Drew Brees is 40. Born January 15th, 1979.

So he’s 0-1 now as a 40 year old. These cliffs do come fast for these QBs.

Except for that Brady dude. He's still pretty good.

Then you have NO IDEA of what and how a great football team works.

It's reasonable to expect them to be good again next year, but even with a lot of the same pieces that's not a lock. This league is constantly evolving, closing the gap, and evolving again.

The Rams appear to be in good shape for a good few years at least. But to predict they'll be a dynasty? Let's give them another 7-8 years and see where we are.
PREDICTIONS are made at the beginning of something, like lets say a dynasty. To wait 7 or 8 years, we will already know if they are a dynasty or not.

I predict they will be a dynasty because of their young brilliant Coach Sean McVay.

That's what non-Bull fans used to tell me 20 years ago.
And like Jordan, I hope Brady etc do win; so they retire on top.
You beat us by 3 I believe, we held Rams to 6 total points.
Pats: 37
Rams: 24

Now if it were my Bears, much closer; and lower scoring.

Fair enough, I see your point about "predictions." It's definitely a bold prediction too. As much as they look like a heavyweight contender for the foreseeable future this league changes so much year to year that most predictions from one season to the next don't pan out, much less multiple years down the road.

I'm not sure there will be another dynasty in the NFL, although up until now across the decades in NFL history there have been dynasties in each decade. Peyton Manning, Drew Brees - never part of a dynasty, nor Andy Reid or Mike Tomlin. Successful in their own rights, but all the pieces never seem to have fit into place for them. And when this 2 decade old Patriots dynasty ends, the game has changed so much in that time that the NFL simply isn't built for a dynasty to occur unless under the rarest of circumstances. McVay looks to be a great coach, but let's talk in a decade. I think maybe if Mahomes was on the Rams then that combo could possibly smell more like Belichick/Brady and have a better chance to make a dynasty run. IMHO Goff isn't even a Brees of Manning, but Mahomes could be.

The Chiefs and the Rams are the two teams that could possibly be in the mix. But are the coach/QB's of each good enough to withstand free agency and the ever changing roster like Belichick & Brady has. I don't see it, but not to say it won't happen.

I am not a rams fan (steelers fan for life) but I wanted them to beat the saints & hopefully the nasty pats & Mrs. Brady. The pats beat the chiefs because they have a horrible defense. The rams D is much better. Get to brady & contain him. GO RAMS !
