Why are there no police reports, or complaints with the Houston Police Department?
For now, though, not much is happening. Via KTRK, the Houston Police Department said Thursday that it has not yet received any documentation or other evidence from Buzbee. The lawyer has said that his office would be submitting affidavits and other evidence on Monday, March 22.
This whole thing just seems to be a major red flag. I'm not saying there isn't fault here but why now, and why wasn't this brought up sooner?
Police reports/criminal proceedings can exposes the current plaintiffs to legal trouble
This from PFT about a different masseuse, one who hasn't filed is interesting. The fact she contacted the firm involved in the cases and felt pressured to sign a contract says something, too.
Tony Buzbee said this evening in an Instagram post he will not be turning over evidence to HPD reversing course on his previous statement citing a possible conflict of interest

Feel like i'm in a game of ping pong here and i'm the ball.
The reporter covering the Texans for The Athletic has some interesting posts on his twitter feed. The Athletic is a pay site but he is keeping his coverage of this story unlocked apparently.
Two of the 22 women suing Deshaun Watson went public Tuesday.
“I got into massage therapy to help people, to heal their minds and bodies, to bring peace to their souls,” Ashley Solis said. “Deshaun Watson has robbed me of that.”

Yeah.. I saw that.. And was like.. Oh, this is bad.
Here's the part where I have concerns about that one... The lawyer response
Quote:
"We made a legit demand. You rejected it. We won’t be making another or bid against ourselves. We also won’t be having an extended dialogue about why you think your client did nothing wrong or how you want this to be a 'learning' experience for your 'high profile athlete,' as you refer to him. This is Houston, Texas. Perhaps you should find him a lawyer here so you can apprise both you and your client of the landscape here and who you are dealing with. Talk soon."
That's.. Not exactly professional lawyerr behavior.. That.. Sounds a whole lot like a shakedown.
Here's what someone said that resonated the most with me.. Even if all 22 of those women are lying. Ok. Let's just say that's the case.
Those 22.. plus 18 that came out defending him.
That's 40 massage therapists he's used in 5 years. All female.
Nike has announced that they have ended the endorsement deal they have with Watson.
Suspended.
What's the difference? well, if he's cleared.. They pick right back up.
Of course.. remember that subway 'suspended' the relationship with Jared.. so.. Suspensions can turn permanent.
