I am totally happy with Tomlin - I think he is such a great fit w/the team.
He still needs to work out some of the rookie type calls but I like him.Man do we have solid running game.I just wish we would have resigned our backup QB instead of Charlie Batch.Charlie's a nice guy but he's a major dropoff from Ben.
Football is my favorite sport & the 2009 season is right around the corner. The steelers start camp next month & there 1st pre-season game is on 8-13 VS The Arizona Cardinals (rematch). I taped superbowl43 & watched the game last night. Overall the steelers controlled the game & were the better team. The last 3 mins of the game was nail biting. Im looking forward to the 2009 season. Keep in mind the steelers had the toughest schedule in the nfl of any team since 1978. To finish at 12-4 (2nd seed) & win the super bowl is damn impressive. "GO STEELERS"!! This is going to be a exciting season. The steelers play @ san diego chargers on oct 4th. Thats 2 hours away. I wouldnt mind going if i could afford it. Their first pre-season game is on aug 13th @ arizona cardinals. I bet the stadium will be packed !
