I don't want the chin back. Tomlin is our coach. Whatever is wrong now will be corrected before the next season begins, as usual. We're very fortunate as Steelers' fans that they make the playoffs almost every year.

Wow. And this was the same Pittsburgh team that destroyed my Broncos at Denver (I was there).

Tomorrow, I'll check if Hell froze over, the Cubs won the World Series, and Salma Hayek and Halle Berry have paternity suits against me.

Tomlin didn't get us a ring! Our solid defense and pretty good offense gave us a ring.Tomlin made some rookie mistakes during the course of the year but he was handed a GREAT team.
Let me ask you this.If you were given the Chicago Bulls team with Jordan, and Pippen when they were in their prime;did it really matter who coached them? No,obviously not.A great team is a great team but a decent team performs better with a better coach and thats Cowher. Cowher is more of a die hard guy and obviously more exciteable, but more then that he makes better decisions.I think the reason he hasn't jumped at the other coaching jobs is because he was hoping to come back to Pitt.

I highly doubt it if the rooneys will fire tomlin. Cowher had some bad seasons as well incl the playoffs. Cowher is not going back to pitts but i bet he didnt expect a superbowl team with the toughest record in the 08 season & a 12-4 record to fall from grace. My ex bro in law told me the steelers offense/defense played one of the worse games he has seen in awhile. The steelers chance of a wildcard now are slim to none. For the remaining 3 games tomlin should give the 2nd & 3rd string some playing time but thats doubtful cause he wants to end the losing streak. The next 2 games are at home (packers & ravens) & the last game of the season is @ miami. The best they could end at is 9-7. That wont get them in the 5th or 6th seed. Pitts is 1-4 in the afc north.

Cower back to Pittsburgh, his hometown?
Did you ever see the movie Gladiator? The emporer's son was jealous of the general. Watch "America's Game, the 2005 Superbowl". Watch Cower and Dan embrace yet Cower and Art don't even shake hands.
I'm not smart or alert enough to have noticed this. It was pointed out to me by a friend and I think he is on to something. If so, Cower has a lot of class keeping it quiet.
I look for Cower to wind up in Carolina or maybe Washington for some BIG BUCKS.
The Steelers looked horrible last night. That was the Browns' Super Bowl this year.

Tuff break guys!! No offense but I truly believe that the era of the repeat and the dynasty's are over. Free agency and the Love of Money has changed this sport forever. There are talks that there might not be a 2010 season next year. It will never happen but what it all boils down to is $$$.

Sorry guys maybe next year.

One bad stretch and some of you are ready to toss Mike Tomlin aside. How embarrassing.

Pitts needs to win 2 out of 3 games to be .500 & not have a losing season. The last losing season was 2003. 8-8 is better then 6-10 or 7-9. Hopefully they rebuild during the off season & get a better special teams & teach the kicker jeff reed how to tackle. Now he was sad in a few games....wow!
