Panthers are still alive because

1. If the beat the skins tonight and win the last 2 and skins lose last two they hold tie breaker

2. If the bucs lose the last two and panthers win last 2 including beating the bucs in week 17 they hold tie breaker due to better conference record


Now if the panthers lose tonight they will be eliminated

Skins are done, Cousins came out and has not played like a playoff QB

Watching this game is interesting as there doesn't seem to be enough urgency on the Redskins part and they are in the thick of a wild card battle. Wow, a critical turnover, Redskins look shaky.

Of course, Newton is hard to figure, he seems to get an attitude in a game easily, thin skinned maybe. Panthers had a critical penalty or this game would not be close.
