I gotta say all the reports out of training camp says Griff is struggling to become a pocket QB. I've been telling everyone to wait until he's healthy before judging him but I have to say I'm concerned.

Yikes....that concerns me as well. Fingers crossed.
I was kind of rooting for Johnny Football to work out, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Browns fans. But after last night I just don't see it happening. He was missing guys all night and was routinely run down when he tried to get out of trouble. Kind of makes me appreciate the speed of our QB
Speaking of Griff I was very happy with what I saw. He moved the team on all 3 possessions and only had one really bad play, the pick on 3rd and a mile. Of course he still needs to protect himself but I wanted him to survey the field, find second and third options, hit what he was throwing at (unlike the Browns QBs) and move the team. We got all that so I'm good.

Dammit Robert....SLIDE! He won't last the season taking hits like that. I love me some RG3, but it appears he hasn't learned his lesson from the last two years. I know previous leg injuries mess with his head and he's literally scared to slide, but he has to get over it.
Alfred Morris is still a beast. Ryan Kerrigan is one sexy man (on the field). Chester and Polumbus really suck. They're going to get RG3 injured if he becomes a pocket passer.
It is the strangest thing I can remember. How can you not know how to slide???? If anything this puts him at risk of an injury more than the hits. He is going to catch a spike and rip up his knee again. Giant WTF?
But besides that I thought Griff looked good. He read the defense, went to his 2nd and 3rd option, moved ther team on all 3 possessions and hit guys in stride. His wheels got him out of trouble on several occasions and allowed him to make positive plays. So far he has made exactly 2 bad throws all preseason, against first team defenses by the way: a bad incompletion against NE and obviously the pick. He throws a beautiful deep ball, a ball with air under it that allows the receiver to run under it. Campbell and Frerotte just couldn't figure that part out.
We rag on Polumbus and for good reason but Chris Chester has always been the weak link on that OL What a thief that guy has been.

yeah, Chester is definitely the weaker of the two, god I wish we could firm up that right side.
I'm with ya, Robert looked comfortable int eh pocket, went through his reads. made smart, safe throws. You could read his body language on that interception, as soon as he let it go his whole body was like "dammit." lol
