Turning our rather well, I see. Houck retires and he's replaced by Bill Callahan.

Thanks... what do you think we should do with it?

I'd like to get one of the top corners. Dennard, Kirkpatrick, or Claiborne. If they are left...

With that 1st pick though?

I know we need lineman... but having a top 15 pick and the putrid secondary that we have I think you gotta get a top skilled guy first.

Sorry but I want DeCastro. We need a guard, badly. I am sick and tired of something breaking in Romo's body because of our inability to protect him. I think we will start addressing the secondary in free agency plus draft. But give me David DeCastro.

So Callahan was not only hired as the OL coach but as the OC too. Though Jason will continue to call plays. He's getting help. I like it.

I think Callahan is an excellent move. We really need to get our running game going. We have excellent backs and we under utilize them by having a sorry run blocking O-line. This offense will really be deadly if we did as it would make our WRs, TEs, and QB that much better in providing a really balanced attack.

I was excited to read that Callahan would be the OC as well as OL coach.

I'm glad Garrett is getting help too. However, I don't know why he wants to continue to call plays. Jimmy Johnson has said many times that a head coach should not be OC or DC at the same time. The head coach manages the game each week and the entire team during the week. That is a full-time job and then some...lol. If I was the head coach I wouldn't want to have to add OC duties to all of that.

From what I read on another Cowboys board, the Saints and Packers have the same type of system. So it's nothing new and those two offenses are the best in football outside of NE, of course.
