Look on the bright side, the cowboys are only one anuerism away from fixing what is really wrong with their franchise.

That's a good point!...lol. The problem is, Jerry's son Stephen will take over when Jerry croaks. I just hope that Stephen Jones will be a little different than his father and have the good sense to hire a GM.

I think Stephen has been quoted as saying he would hire a GM. I don't know why everybody within the organization that he trusts tell him the truth. EVERYBODY knows the problem with the Cowboys. Since 1996, his team has gone 122-122, has 1 playoff win, has been through 5 head coaches, 6 losing seasons, 6 playoff appearances, etc. It's basically been mediocrity. The 2008 and 2009 drafts are perhaps the worse drafts in Cowboy history. Any GM on any other team would have been fired with that resume.

Daniel has actually taken a step back a tad bit though so I give him credit. Jerry has turned into Al davis Jr.

Daniel is still a jack in a box! I wonder how long he'll last not sticking his nose in the football side of things....

The moment when he see that there is no improvement even from today and with the addition of RG3.

That's good to hear! I hope Stephen will stick to that when he takes over. I guess there may be a little light at the end of this tunnel...lol.

On your other point, I've always wondered about that too. Is there nobody that Jerry trusts within the organization that speaks truthfully and frankly with him? If nothing else, you would think that his own son would be frank with him, especially since Stephen works with his father so closely. How about ex-players that are now outside the organization that he trusts? (Troy, Emmitt, etc.) They have to know what's going on! Maybe some of the people Jerry trusts have tried to be honest with him and he's just simply ignored them.

BINGO! And I'm afraid it may end up being this year after they go 6-10 again.... He does believe in magic, I think!
