I agree. When the Panthers step up knowing their plays and how to execute them successfully, it should be the direction to take.

Default 2015 Preseason Week 4 (2015-09-03): Panthers at Steelers

The Panthers play their fourth and final 2015 preseason game against the Steelers.

The Panthers acquired wide receiver Kevin Norwood from the Seattle Seahawks for a 2017 conditional pick. It remains to be seen if the Panthers have addressed the need at the position. If Norwood can catch the ball, run it into the end zone for touchdowns, and contribute to the Panthers' offensive line, he should be good.

Default 2015 Preseason Week 4 (2015-09-03): Panthers 23, Steelers 6

The Panthers showed up to play Thursday night for a good win. Games like that should help the Panthers succeed this season.

You do realize that most of the players on the field last night are fringe players or players that won't be on the team come Week 1.

Starters don't play in final preseason games.

Teams have to reduce their rosters to 53 players by Tuesday. The final week of the preseason is decision time on who will be playing this season, and who will be looking for opportunities elsewhere.

A win is a win regardless.

So looks like we're going with Corey Brown and Ted Ginn as our starting WR's on Sunday. Certainly not going to scare many teams with that combo. Guess we'll see how that works out for us.

For the bettors out there, the line on the game is the Panthers -2.5, total points 43.5

FYI.....

Ugly, but good win for us yesterday. I hope Luke isn't out too long with the concussion. The offense was pretty horrible yesterday. It's quite telling when the RedZone channel only cuts to our game once in the entire second half (Norman's pick six).

Yeah, the offense was pretty lackluster. I feel a little better knowing that we can play pretty bad and still win relatively comfortably. Granted the Jags aren't a very good team but we made plays when we needed to. It'll be interesting to see how we handle JJ Watt coming up on Sunday.
