Alright... I lived in NC for a long time including when the Panthers first joined the league so I have always had a soft spot for them. I guess they are my #3 team!!!

Anyway, Peppers looked pretty good against the Colts, looks to be healthy. Delhomme is looking good also, but I'm concerned about Steve Smith's suspension and also the depth on DB and LB. What do you guys think?

I say, a 9-7, maybe 10-6 season, not sure about the playoffs.

I see yet another same-ol season, with John Fox being let go.

I also think John Kasay, a great man by the way, will retire at the end of the year.

9-7 and i think they can find a way into the playoffs.

My main concern is the D-line. No K. Jenkins, who will bring the heat opposite Peppers, can our D-line keep opening holes for Jon Beason?

I am in agreement, the Cats D needs some adjustment. Peppers gets double-teamed alot now, so his performance has slumped. Heck with his speed, he could play cornerback.
The Panthers need to get off to a good start and not slump early like they've done in years past. They've got San Diego on the road next Sunday, followed by the Bears at home the following week.

^^^
San Diego game on the road will be specially tough because I think Steve Smith is suspended for that game.

Yes and the Chicago game as well. Guess the D will need to step it up against LT & co. Dont know about Chicago's power.

Damn! what a finish!!! not the result I wanted but a good finish to win with no time on the clock. It's a good win for Fox, as he's from the San Diego area.

I was absolutely thrilled by our victory!!!!! To see Jake come up with that final pass answered alll my questions about him. Realtively speaking we held LT pretty much in check. Hopefully we dont fall flat on our face against the Bears next week.
