Looks like the only thing that got eaten is YOUR WORDS. Despite not converting on three opportunities inside 10 yard line the Eagles dominated the ball against the Colts and Peyton Manning went through a stretch were he only hit three out of fourteen passes.
...and 14 penalties - half of which gave the Colts a 1st down.
I'm sorry Eagles fans. Ya'll got robbed on the Collie hit. I saw nothing illegal about that hit. Of course Commissioner Godell will probably fine the h outta whoever hit Collie.
... and he caught the ball with two steps - should have been a fumble also.
That was a good if fugly game. The refs almost gave it to the Colts but the Colts and Manning didn't seem to want it. That unnecessary roughness call on Manning that overturned his fumble was just stupid, but tolerable this close to the latest ruling on hits. The refs won't be that hyper sensitive for long. That hit on Collie was rough but that happens and they're paid more than enough to take those risks. Let's hope he's doing better and has a quick recovery.
Speaking of being paid, should anybody on the Cowboys be accepting payment for the last two games?

I couldn't even watch that game last night. You can see it on everyone's face from Phillips down to the rookies on spec.teams: They've given up.
