They need a leader to step up and lead the team. MacNabb never could, Vick can't and there's nobody else. Maybe with a new quarterback in a season or two they'll come back. I'm still supporting Andy Reid but they have to start looking for more than just great athletes. These guys have zero spirit. But at least they're not alone, the entire NFC East is in the same boat.

I would be stunned if the eagles play Vick against the Skins in week 17 and the game has no playoff meaning.

Do you think other teams will do this? Sit their star players once they are out of playoff contention?

Because those teams I mentioned dont have franchise QB's so it doesn't matter. The Eagles will try and protect their investment and not get vick hurt in a game that is meaningless. Plus the stadium will probably be half empty on that day

Sam Bradford was the #1 overall pick and was signed for 78 million dollars and more guaranteed money than Vick.

Fitzpatrick was just signed for 6 years and is the highest paid Bills player in history.

Are you saying those aren't franchise QBs?

How about this? Let's say the Giants and the Chargers are both eliminated from playoff contention at some point. Do they sit Manning and Rivers?

Well the offense played for one quarter and they got it done.

If Dallas loses tonight, you start Vick next week. As long as there's a chance for the playoffs, you have to stay with the program.

Actually, even if Dallas wins, they are still technically in the division hunt being three down with three to play and a chance to sweep the Cowboys.

Why did the offense only play one quarter?

Because it is the Eagles, at least the defense played all four.
