Really? How is this "a move for the future" with 5 games left?

The season was a failure and they are getting rid of players they feel performed at a low level

also to probably free up cap space next for the upcoming offseason/next year. Babin wasn't doing to well but I have no doubts he will end up somewhere quickly.

Djax on IR...what is up with this year.

It's just one of those years.

IF Reid is retained, they need a defensive coach who has been a head coach in the past to be the DC - someone who can take the defense and run with it with minimal help from Reid.

The Houston situation has worked like a charm. Offensive head coach Kubiak doesn't have to worry about Wade Phillips' defense. Phillips has the experience and success to run things successfully without much time and effort from Kubiak.

There is no IF he will be retained which is obvious because of all the moves he has made. If he really was not going to be here next year why would he be releasing players?

Jeffery Lurie is playing mind games with the city of Philadelphia and I;m the only one who can see it.

Jason Babin is an a$$, look how happy he was yesterday to get basically fired from his job. Babin is not a good teammate he only cares about his stats and sacks, he was 13th on the team in tackles, he is a joke. Washburn is gone next year, so is Reid. Does anyone think that Lurie didn't notice the empty seats on Monday night.

Trent Cole can play in a traditional 4-3 defense and be solid, not great but solid, Babin can't.

I do find it interesting that Joe Banner's guys are now getting fired, its like Lurie wants to rid his team of all remnances of Joe Banner. If Reid doesn't get an offer in Cleveland then maybe Banner doesn't want anything to do with him either.

Unless a miracle happens and the Eagles end up 8-8 or 7-9, Reid is gone. No doubt about it.

Babin was picked up by the Jags. Hahahahahhahahahah

It was revealed on the radio WIP that the move to release Babin came from the Front Office not Reid.

So maybe I was wrong in saying Reid made the move and will still be here next year

I quickly became a non-fan of Babin when he stated that he never watches or pays any attention to football aside from his own practice and game. I though that was very odd.
