Jason Avant has been released. I don't think anyone is surprised there.

He was one of my favorite players, I wish him success in wherever he goes.

Foles is going to have so much pressure on him next season.

Just looked at Barkley stats. Any chance the Eagles will go out and try to replace him? To me he looks like another Sanchez. Would Manziel fit into a Chip Kelly offense?

Well, Chip might give him snaps in the preseason. But, again, I'm wondering if Barkley comes from a playing background that equips him for the Kelly offense. After all, Kelly had no say in recruiting him.

I agree. He was never a superstar, but a constant for sure. He has great hands. Get the ball remotely near him and he will catch it 95% of the time.

The GM decided Foles has more than enough targets? And that makes me think something else. At Oregon, wasn't a QB with scoring ability part of the formula for Oregon's potent offense? Has Chip Kelly modified it that much for the NFL situation?
