Feel badly about the injury to Nick Foles, but Mark Sanchez came in and did an excellent job for the Eagles!

Nick Foles injured may not be a crippling blow to the Eagles. Mark Sanchez came in and looked great.

The injury I'm worried about is DeMeco Ryans who is now out for the remainder of the season. He is a huge piece on Defense and that could be a huge blow.

What matters, is that it appears that Mark Sanchez is a better QB than Brandon Weedon - but time will tell.
Yes Sanchez is better than Weeden and he did have success for 2 years with the Jets before things went south. But hell I think Tebow, Vince Young, or present Mike Vick would've been a better choice than Weeden. I see why Cleveland wanted Hoyer to start over Weeden last year.

I agree, Sanchez seems to fit well in this type of offense. Sanchez could've had 3 touchdowns if the receiver didn't bounce the ball out of his hands. If Sanchez continues to play well and win games while Foles is injured, I don't see the point in going back with Foles as the starter. We can't forget that Marc Sanchez took the Jets to two AFC championship games and he is a more experienced quarterback than Foles.

Thanks for this info. Amazing that the Eagles website doesn't show the change yet. I guess they are running behind.

I'm in agreement with the fact that Sanchez is definitely one of the better backups in the NFL. I feel bad for Foles. I hope he's not done for the season.

Another big road win yesterday. I'm looking forward to Carolina at home next Monday night.

Oh, and I am so sick of the white jerseys!

I've always been wondering how he would do once he was removed from the disaster in New York and play in a situation that mattered. Time to get dirty Sanchez.

The NY Jets became a place where players were sent when no one else wanted them, or players that are already there seem to lose their edge! About like the Raiders! Very tragic!

Losing Ryans is big. It's a huge hit to the defense.

Lets hope Casey Matthews can start playing at the level of his brother who is on the Packers.
