Rumor on the street is that the Rams are interested in possibly trading their first round pick (10) to the Eagles for Nick Foles.
Nick Foles for a #10 draft pick?
That would be a shock.. There has to move picks involved than just a #10 pick for Foles..
Maybe swapping 1st round picks this year plus Rams get this years #2 and next year #1 from the Eagles.. that makes more sense..

Yes, Nick Foles + more, not sure how much more. I would assume the purpose would be a multiple team trade, not just a trade for STL's pick. I can't see it happening.
Local reporters here think Eagles will get Mariota, and that he may drop on draft day. Interesting to hear them talk about the Eagles today on the radio but probably because the alternative subject has been beat to death. Quite a few of them are Univ. of Wisc. grads, and one of them really, really carries on about Chip Kelly.
I think Mariota to the Eagles is on a lot of folks mind because they believe (so do I) that Kelly wants him badly. Just how badly? I guess we will see on draft day but IMO it will take a draft day bonanza trade to get up that far in the draft to pick Mariota. Teams and agents will start rumors that players are sliding in the draft simply to help their players or their teams in the draft. Don't believe any of that stuff. Mariota is a top 3 pick in this years draft, and nothing short of an unexpected injury or failed drug test will change that. IMO.
I'm sure you are right, I don't see him dropping out of say top 5. Draft talk, who is on whoevers draft board before the super bowl is played a little early!

Its a catch 22 if you ask me.
Getting him might cost them TOO much and create holes else where which could be their demise...
but, it might also be the piece to the puzzle that puts the Eagles offense in high gear.
Look at what the Eagles offense has been able to do with Sanchez and Foles.. pretty good.. if Mariota is an upgrade at that position, which its hard to argue he wont be, then that could spell dome for NFC East opponents.
Your coach (Kelly) is willing to give up anything to get Mariota...
A rumor shows he is willing to trade McCoy, Foles, and a few 1st rounders in future years to get him.
