Absolutely disgusting display of a football team yesterday. The Iggles should be ashamed of themselves.

At least the Midgets got crushed!

Some credit should go to the Giants for aiding in Oakland winning yesterday:

"was a major turnaround from the last three weeks when the Raiders (2-4) lost by at least 20 points for the first time in franchise history, capped by a 44-7 loss to the Giants last week."

After that game, New York linebacker Antonio Pierce said it felt like playing a scrimmage. Those comments were posted in the Raiders' locker room this week and the team responded to the critics in impressive fashion.

Thank you AP

GFYS

At least the entire season wasn't on the line and it wasn't 44-6.

Unexplainable loses like that happen to good teams. Remember last year the Giants getting murdered by the Browns or 2 years ago the Raiders crushing the Steelers? It happens. If the Eagles truly are a good team they should come out firing on all cylinders and hopefully make a human sacrifice out of Washington. Merrill Reese even said, "this is the most uninspired effort I've seen out of an Eagles team since Ray Rhodes was the head coach". If that, coupled with the loss isn't motivation to beat the Redskins like mixed race step children then this team doesn't have a pulse, or a prayer of competing with the likes of the Giants.

I wouldn't stress too much about that loss...And i'm not at all concerned the Saints beat the snot out of us (NYG)....At the end of week #17, I feel real confident both the Iggles and GMen will be playoff bound.....And its a WHOLE new season then!!! Bring on the Saints again, dammit!!!

Although I'm not stressed by the Iggles loss to the Raiders, it does make me sick!

BTW, I did predict an 11-5 record on the season, so they have 3 more games to wreck.

Is Winston Justice still considered an eventual all-pro player at offensive tackle? I think Max-Jean Gillies will be a great player eventually, that is one BIG dude.

The Eagles picked up LB Will Witherspoon from the Rams today in exchange for WR Brandon Gibson and a 5th round pick.
