He's 37 years old and likely only has one year left anyway. New Rookie LS Rick Lovato is apparently very good and only 24 years old.
Also, getting a 7th rounder for a 37 year old Long Snapper is practically unheard of. I assume they decided to move on it before they lost their chance to get a draft pick.
