I am a life long Eagles fan, but I didn't see this coming. Even with Wentz, I had them at 9 - 7 and MAYBE a wild card spot, but probably not. I didn't trust Pederson as a newer head coach, and I didn't think they had a decent Secondary. Then when Wentz went down, even though I like, and respect Nick Foles, I did not think he could get the team to the Super Bowl. Maybe one win in the Playoffs, then out. I was WRONG. Congrats Birds! Beat the Evil Empire!
29 seconds to go in the half and manufactured 3 points even though they were getting the ball in the second half. Contrast that with the Jags who sat on the ball at the end of the first half.
Dougy P with the foot on the pedal. Give the man his due. His personality on the podium is not aggressive, but he is the anti-Reid.
Give it up to Schwartz and the crowd as well. Schwartz will have his work cut out for him in the next two weeks.
Also a winner... film study.
They noticed that the Vikings' DBs like to peek at the QB. Receivers continuously took advantage of double moves with the Vikings heads turned.
Also a winner... DeMarco Murray, who took the initiative to meet with the owner to remove Chip Kelly.
Doug called a great game. He proved, without a shadow of a doubt, he is not Reid 2.0.
Also, I guess the capital of Wentzylvania really is Folesadelphia!
