Oh well, at least we have the Phillies and baseball season to look forward to. You have to feel sorry for the Giants fans who are also Mets fans and the Redskins/Nationals fans.....
Screw the Phillies..the New New York Bankees

Reid is becoming jeff fisher, he won't leave. I love what he has done for the eagles but after 12 years it is time.
No it isn't.

The team is very young right now. Playoffs 9 of 11 years for Reid. I'm in South Texas - Texans, 0 for 9 years. Take your pick.

NAME FGM FGA PCT
David Akers 32 38 84.2
was 32 36 going into that game 89.5

The mans a machine, he misses but four all season, did two of them have to come in a same playoff game...
Hmmm who really won the Eagles v. Giants and put the Eagles in the playoffs....Akers.

Without that excellent onside kick (which is very hard to do perfectly) the Eagles dont get the ball back, score, and gain the momentum. Eagles probably would have missed the playoff like the Giants did since the lost the tie breaker against the Bears and Pack.

This is so easy to say for a non-Eagles fan. If you had lived the last decade or so of ridiculous disappointment, you would probably feel differently. Just because they get to the playoffs practically every season, doesn't negate the fact that they can't get over the hump.

Anything could always be worse. Doesn't keep you from having the right to complain.

What you dont understand is that most of the Eagle playoff losses were in games that the Eagles should have won. Very rarely did I walk away from a Eagle playoff loss and say they just had no chance. Even the superbowl, the Eagles should have and could have won it. The lost NFC Championship games, the Eagles should have won them all. And this last game is the perfect example, the Eagles should have won it, could have won it and just didn't. I would rather not go to the playoffs then lose the way the Eagles manage to lose all the time in the playoffs.
