If you know crabs history, you would know is is a prima Donna, spoiled child, and in general, a loser. Good football player, not much of a human being.
Here is a great story on Sherm and the way he lives and plays the game. The only people who don't love Sherm are those that don't like the Hawks because they always kick the crap out of their teams.
The haters are the real losers, not good guys like Sherm.
Richard Sherman perfect as the face of Super Bowl XLVIII - NFL.com
\Read it slowly and carefully, and absorb it. Sherman is a great guy and a role model..
Skip Bayless was put in his place, and rightfully so, by the far more intelligent Sherman. Sherm is the modern day Ali, who was hated in his day for his mouth, now loved and revered by the entire world.. When you have the taley to back up your boasts, you can say anything you want..
Haters will always find an excuse for hating, even when they are wrong.
I'm sorry, if I said injured that was a mistake. Clearly I was talking about the interview that everyone has been talking about with Sherman.

There is no question that Sherman and Crabtree have a history. But as we know trash talk goes both ways and there should be no doubt that Sherman is a big time trash talker. Nobody should care about trash talk, Bird and Jordan were the kings. But they were professional enough to leave it on the field and not scream it into my living room. That was bush and there is a reason it's such an uproar.

But again we go back to the handshake and I'm sorry, NOBODY outside of Seahawks fans see that as an act of sportsmanship. I'll say it again: if a Giants player ran up to Scott Norwodd, a player he nearly came to blows with in the past, and pulled that crap seconds after he missed the kick, would you really consider that sportsmanship? Come on now, that was baiting plain and simple and so was this. And if Crabs made the catch and tried the same crap would anyone blame Sherman for smacking him away?

Here's the irony. Sherman is *wrong* for answering a question truthfully in the moment it was asked. Crabtree is not wrong for blowing Sherman off and not shaking his hand because we're to interpret any gesture by Sherman as being insincere - and again, Sherman is wrong. So he tries to shake hands -wrong, he says what he feels - wrong. I guess the hug later on was fabricated too? Got to love the logical thought process here.

To me the wonderful parallelism is between Jim Harbaugh's post game handshake with Jim Schwartz and Richard Sherman's post game handshake with Crabtree. Schwartz got angry and chased Harbaugh because of being offended. Now Harbaugh's receiver gets offended by the manner in which Richard Sherman greeted him. I think there's a lot of cocky winner/bad loser stuff going on. I think both fans and media have very bad memories for the "state of the game". In Fox's case, remembering wouldn't slow them down a bit. They made a lot of the Shwartz-Harbaugh dustup too. Fox loves this stuff. People don't watch games on Fox with a consciousness of what kind of network is bringing them the coverage.

Is popcorn a food item or is it a synthetic material? Maybe what you call popcorn in Seattle, is in fact something different altogether, but I thought popcorn fell under the "edible" category. If popcorn is not food then what else do you do with it? Oh, THROW IT AT FOOTBALL PLAYERS!

Nayabone- and another thing... if I don't respond to your post with video then leave it at that and don't feel the need to send me a personal message. The forum is the place to hash things out. Don't send me any more personal messages. Thanks.

Estimate how many times in history fans have thrown food. Is anyone saying we have a unique event here? Football fans are by nature rowdy people. Or maybe somewhere there is a stadium with really polite fans (you know I'm pretty skeptical)

I am responding to the poster, Nayabone, who thinks popcorn is not indeed, food. I have stopped posting here but the poster, Nayabone, sends me private messages saying popcorn is not food. It IS food. I really don't need to discuss this anymore. I have the 49ers forum and the Super Bowl forum. I will leave you, Seattle fans, to discuss your issues amongst yourselves.

Interesting, and not at all unique, article on fan behavior:

You are being absolutely ridiculous now, perhaps to cover up your huge screw up. Three kernels of popcorn do in no way, constitute food. The stories were all made to sound like the poor guy was assaulted in mounds of food, not three kernels of popcorn accidentally spilled by a curious observer.
You would be a better person my admitting, after watching the clip, that you were wrong.
Being that you now wish to carry your argument to a ridiculous length, I done talking about it to one who can't even make a reasonable argument. Not worth discussing with someone who makes a grade school arguement.

Hopefully this time you are telling the truth and will no longer post here. This forum is for adults that will admit when they are wrong...
