Well done Broncos.
I gave up on a 21-7 Tampa/Colts game in 2003. Fortunately I checked before turning off the TV just as Peyton tied it up then won it in overtime! Never give up on Petyon (or Brady).

That last Rivers pic is classic! hahahahah!!!!

and I'm with ya Broncos QB, if Denver can just stop shooting themselves in the foot with all those fumbles, they'll be a serious contender this year.

Oh, and thank you Peyton Manning for doing all the scoring through the air. In my fantasy game last night, my opponent had Willis McGahee. Though productive, Willis didn't score, and I won by 1.25 points this week.

What a game and especially a second half. Why is it that Colorado teams seem to always win in the last minute? Its fun to watch but is also a lot of stress!

I was going to hit the sack after halftime but I thought I'd give Peyton a series or two. Glad I stayed awake.

How is that Trindon Holliday pickup working out?

Quite an amazing game, bummed at halftime, elated at the finish.

Talk about a Jeckyl and Hyde performance-by both clubs actually! 24-zip at halftime, and then in the second hald Peyton did his own zipping, completing 13 out of his last 14 passes and the broncos won the game going away. It's been a long time that I have seen a game like that! But it came at the right time with a bye week coming up. Yesterday morning I read a bit of the San Diego Union game report. Nick Canepa has been writing for the Union for a couple decades and needless to say he was pretty brutal with the Chargers on their performance.

Special teams? Ugh. That new guy the Broncos picked up from Houston last week? Well, let's hope THAT doesn't happen again. Defense came on strong in the second half, particularly the defensive line. They came up with four sacks and hurried Rivers on lots of his throws. Rivers? Heh heh. I've commented plenty on him in other threads on City Data so I don't believe I need to say anything except one quick observation; the look on his face at the end of the game was absolutely priceless!

A great, great Monday night win for Denver.

I'd also like to commemorate the Dr. Jekyl Mr. Hyde performance by John Gruden; "Blah Blah Blah Slobber Slobber Slobber Philip Rivers Blah Blah Blah Slobber Slobber Slobber San Diego Chargers... Blah Blah Blah Slobber Slobber Slobber Peyton Manning Blah Blah Blah Slobber Slobber Slobber Denver Broncos."

I'd also like to commemorate Peyton Manning for what he did NOT say in the post game interview; "... and our drunked-up kickoff returner..."
