The first acquisition on free agency has the Broncos signing Louis Vasquez, formerly of San Diego. The contract calls for 4 yr., $23.5 million with $13 million guaranteed. He had played four years with the Chargers.

The situation with Elvis Dumervil has me concerned. I have a sneaking suspicion that Denver will make a play for Dwight Freeney if they lose Elvis and that would be a huge mistake. Freeney has lost a few steps and is a shell of the player he was a few years ago.

Good signing that also directly weakens our division rival Unfortunately, it doesn't bode well for Kuper. Chris is a damn talented football player but this signing makes it pretty clear they don't have a whole lot of faith in him staying healthy anymore.

Also, it appears we are close to signing Terrance Knighton, a 6'3, 330lb monster of a defensive tackle who was with Jack Del Rio in Jacksonville.

Demaryus Thomas, Eric Decker, Wes Welker...plus a bunch of reliable tight ends. and they just signed Luis Vasquez to sure up the O-line. Holy crap.

Now if the Broncos can only find themselves a bruiser running back. Nothing against either of them, but McGee is about done and Hillman has no power at all.

Nice. a young(er), decent DT that was drafted by Del Rio back in Jacksonville. And I'm assuming they got him at a fraction of the price they'd have to pay for Elivs....

Does that pretty much mean Doom is all but gone?
