I'm assuming all this offseason craziness and discordance is just a feint to build suspense. 16-0.

Game time coming up in two hours. Noteworthy if for no other reason as this is the game where the players "on the bubble" will show what they can do. A huge cut will come up first of next week Neither Orton or Sims will start, our third stringer Tom Brandstater gets the honors. And he didn't have a bad game last Sunday, all things considered.

Four players were cut yesterday, including Jeb Putzier. I always liked him, he'll wind up somewhere though this year.

Weighing in at halftime!

I know what you mean Summerz. I have hay fever as well! Over here in Grand Junction the air has been bad lately because of the huge fires in southern California. The winds are blowing to the northeast covering this area. Gonna be a few more days before this stuff blows out of here too! Yuck! Donkeyball in 5 minutes-will weigh in at halftime!

Tom Brandstater , 16 for 30 for 187 yards. Brandon Lloyd made a catch in the second quarter that will earn him a roster spot. Broncos, 19-0.

Granted, Arizona had their starters out by the 3rd, as did Denver. But fortunately, Denver played good ball tonight. Brandstater played well for the most part, throwing a pick in the second quarter, that actually was a great play by Arizonas db. Prater nailed all field goal tries.

The guy who I was watching closely was Jarvis Moss, the Broncos #1 pick from 2007. Apparently he has been pencilled in with the #3 squad, but he played some darn good ball. I hope his performance convinced the head coach to keep him.

More observations in the morning.

This game was basically meaningless, but we saw some flashes from guys who may have been on the bubble. Jarvis Moss had an impressive game as did Tim Crowder.

They did that Ticky909! Like Bosco55david said this game was kind of meaningless, but this game was a measuring stick for the borderline players on the roster. In the meantime the head coach will be looking at that waiver wire closely, to see who has been cut from the other clubs. There will be big cut coming up in a few days, plus it will be intersting to see who gets on the practice squad.
