I just don't get it. I literally would not give up anything for Bradford. Eagles should be giving up a 4th and Bradford just for the Broncos to take him off their hands.

Don't do it, Denver.
I wouldn't do it either, and I'd love to have Bradford on this team.

That's a horrible trade for the Broncos. I'd be very disappointed if they made trade. Or any trade for Bradford.

Denver swapped spots with Seattle and picked 26th.

And their pick is quarterback Paxton Lynch out of the University of Memphis.

That was a good move by the Broncos. The Cowboys were gearing up to trade back into the first to get after Lynch and the Chiefs were interested in him as well. Better safe than sorry. The team is loaded with picks anyway and very well positioned to draft mostly depth at this point. I can't for the life of me figure out why people keep alleging this team is on the brink of falling off the football map. The way Elway structures deals sets the team up for minimal long-term cap problems. That's what he means when he said he wants to contend "from now on." Lynch appears to be part of that strategy. The fifth year option means the Broncos can afford to sit him behind Sanchez for a year. Maybe even two (assumes Sanchez gets a year extension).

They still need to add a vet backup. A guy like Hoyer maybe. Do that and they'll have 4 arms going into camp and be completely set at the QB position.

I don't follow college football, so I don't have the knowledge to have much of an opinion but the consensus seems to be that this was a good pick - a bit of a gamble but a reasonable chance it will pay off. Look forward to seeing how he does in training camp.

Long time Bronco fan here and the last couple months I was starting to lose faith.
Mark Sanchez? Colin Kaepernick? Sam Bradford? Really???

But in hindsight this looks brilliant. Sanchez is in the best situation he has seen since college.
He will be our 2016 starter with a shot at a Super Bowl and the opportunity to be a long term backup.

Paxton Lynch will need a year to develop, but with his size and arm, we replace Brock at 1/8 the cost!

In John#7, I trust!

That kid from Utah might be a monster. Not blazing speed, but balance/awareness/shifty
