Thanks Bosco55 for the update, always appreciated!
I understand in a way where Speedaddicted is coming from here.

Losing Brandon Marshall will make Eddie Royal the go to guy. McDaniels has admitted that while Royal certainly wasn't forgotten in the game plan he certainly would have liked to have gotten more balls thrown his way, finishing up the season with 39 catches. Eddie did however miss two and a half games with that nasty concussion. Speaking of concussions, hopefully Brandon Stokely will get through the upcoming season without any of them, as he has had several in his career. His role IMO will be more important than ever.

Switching subjects, I've been a fan of Jeff Legwold's work with the Denver Post for a long time. He had an excellent article in yesterday's Post regarding rookie Eric Olsen. Actually more specifically, Eric's dad, an NYPD fireman, who was involved with the World Trade Center bombing of 9/11. Very sobering story.

I'm actually very happy with our receiving corps.

What about it makes you feel this way?

Pretty much all of it. Thomas is a prototype X receiver, allowing us to move Royal back to the Z spot and we all saw what kind of weapon he could be in 2008. Gaffney and Decker will give us excellent production at the Y spot and Lloyd, Stokley and McKinley will provide depth.

PR: Royal, Cox, Smith

Looks pretty impressive to me. No real holes to speak of and lots of young talent to develop.

Haven't been here in a while (job and family issues), but now that I look at Denver's lineup/depth from this standpoint, it does look pretty good. Certainly on paper, the Broncos have a legitimate shot at the AFC West.

Plus, Denver gets to play the St. Louis Shams at MHS this season, so that will be fun for me as a Bronco fan in St. Louis. Truth be told, I think the Rams' season ticket base is currently at 46 holders.

Looking forward to football starting. The only team here I like (Blues) choked, and I'm sick of whiny fair-weathered Cardinals fans. I hope the Rockies kick their @ss!

Whazzup there Mark? Glad ya checked in! Hope ya liked the coverage in the last 2 days of the Post regarding the minicamps. Talked to my bro-in-law today and they're doing everything they can to get Dumervill signed. He did work out with the team today.

Summers, maciesmom, and other out of state Bronco fans! Check the Post online for Bronco stories for today and yesterday. After minicamp is over it might be quiet for the next couple weeks. And almost forgot, I appreciate the input Bosco55david contributes, McGowdog too, and everyone else I haven't mentioned.

9 more weeks to go for training camp!

I guess they must really love Orton considering they're trying to dump him now.

Am I the only one who would openly rejoice if Josina Anderson was stuck on the first bus out of town?
