There was a lot of scoring today. The guy with the cleanest jersey was the punter. The punt after that safety-SHEESH! I thought Shanahan was gonna send him to the locker room. But he came through at the end. The punt with 30 seconds left was long, and better yet, pinned Bush against the sideline which is what a punter is supposed to do. I said it last game, and I'll say it this game. You kill your club when you use time outs in the second half when you can let your QB audible on the line when you see something on the line that you don't like.

wow we are 1 blown call, and one made field goal from being 1 for 3. Almost reminds me of last year. Remember the time out win?

Agreed. It was a great game and I have no idea how the Broncos still won. I guess the missed fieldgoal had something to do with it. I'm so glad that a ref didn't blow a call or something...one that would make world news anywho.

But gumbo? What's with the gumbo? How bout' some Green Chile?

LOL, Gumbo is the Saints' official mascot! He's a Saint Bernard dog. Seeing how I'm a cat person we always have a cat with black and gold colors and is our lucky Saints cat. Gumbo the cat is named after Gumbo the dog. But, hey, I'll eat some green chilies this week.

PS. Oh yes that punt for the last 30 seconds was really, really good, (darn)! I can't complain though, I thought our boys played their hearts out, (although defense needs work), I liked Payton's go for it on the 4th down decision, and my guy, Charlie Grant, made a stellar play.

Except the fact that they are the highest scoring offense in the league and have double the points of almost every team.

Other than that......... just like last year.

If you guys can come into KC, shut them out, and win by like 50 it would be appreciated. I love seeing the misery of Chiefs fans here in KC.

Oh I don't know about that. KC is like kryptonite for the Broncos, especially in that sea of red.

I remember a couple of years ago the Broncos picked up a rare win there for like a 6-3 or 10-6 victory.

The Broncos just have a knack for making it exciting down to the 2-minute warning.

It may not be a sea of red on Sunday. Chiefs fans are very bandwagon and they are jumping off in the thousands.

Good win yesterday. Brandon Marshall is officially a top 5 receiver now. Jay will solidify his top five spot at QB by the end of the season. No need to say what the problem with the team is, but I wonder why Nate Webster is starting while Jeremiah Trotter is unsigned. I know he can't cover anyone, but he brings a certain nastiness to defenses that we desperately need. He is also a run stopping machine and would allow us to bring the safety back into coverage. Just food for thought. Anyway I don't have much to say about this weeks game other than if we lose I will be extremely disappointed. I don't care where the game is played. If we don't beat the Chiefs thats like 2 losses to me. On a side note doesn't this team remind you of the Colts teams that struggled to get over the hump for those 4 or 5 years before finally winning the superbowl in 2007?
