No chance for Texans. Same teams do not make playoffs every year.

Tough loss for the Texans, they played hard but stillneed to make ALL the plays to win. Dunta shouldnt be looking for a big payday until he steps up his game. What has happened to Kris Brown, he used to be consistent. They should have run another play though to get it closer...not much room for error 49 yds out.

Not much room for error when you don't even hit the net behind the uprights. That kick would've missed from 29 yards.

Dunta Robinson hasn't been the same since his injury. I expect he'll be elsewhere after this season.

I've defended the guy in the past but I'm thinking Kubiak needs to go. The playcalling inside the red zone is killing the Texans. A screen pass inside the 10 when they're not even blitzing? Why? And why try to blitz VY? Chasing him out of the pocket is about the most foolish thing you can do. He's faster than any of the guys in the defensive front.

I'm on the edge...I think they are playing better, and the talent level seems to have improved, but its still at a level where they don't win unless they play mistake free.

6 games left, any worse than 4-2 and I think he's a goner. Fans better not get their hopes up about Cowher, Parcells or Holmgren coming down.

Whats really going to suck is the number of sports radio time with the "VY is the greatest" delusional fanclub.

Right. I like how the "Texans should've drafted VY" talk is back all over again. He had "bust" tattooed on his head as recently as three weeks ago.

You don't draft 3-4 year projects with the first overall pick. VY should at most been a third-rounder. He was in no way ready for the NFL. He had to have something he didn't get in high school or at UT - actual coaching. It's a lot different in a league where you have to do something besides just put 11 athletes on the field and have them run around. You can make it in college like that, but this isn't college.

Bad clock management on the last drive. They should have ran a real play to get it closer when they had 1 TO left insted of focusing on the kick spot.

A better football team won. That's what.

These Texans just aren't hungry.
