Jauton is apparently a pretty good guy... I wonder why he didn't step down to at least save his manship. He knew it was coming to this. I wish the best for him... how can he not have the best, he's set for life now and will continue to get paid. Good riddence.... Jags up next.

If he steps down he doesnt get paid, why would he do that? This mess is Ralph Wilson and the GM as much as it it Juaron's. They trade thier best O-Lineman in the off season, hire a new OC that they fire a few days before the season starts and then they want to place this all on Juaron? C'mon guys this is an organizational problem not just the head coach.

Now being a Bills fan that has been living in San Antonio for the past few years, I thought TO would be our savior since he has been the savior on so many other teams like Dallas Ooh that's right. It was not the head coaches fault for the way this year has gone. Look straight to the top and you will see who to point the fingers toward (that's right it is God's fault)

I think we need to do a clean sweep. one person should not be fired. That is the special teams coach. forgot his name. Everyone except him need to be gone. TO could've helped us except Edwards doesnt look to TO first. he should be doing that every play.

Dude they have no O-Line. He has NO TIME to throw the ball much less go through his reads to find an open reciever. If he was to look at TO everytime by the time he looked for a WR that was open he would be pasted in the ground. Thats not Juaron's doing, thats the Jason Peters trade and lack of O-line development.

Jauron was fired after going 24-33 in three-plus seasons in Buffalo, and with the team in jeopardy of missing the playoffs for a 10th straight year.

A day after firing Dick Jauron, the Bills have contacted Mike Shanahan with regard to their coaching job, Shanahan is said to be open to discussions with the Bills, according to the report.

Interim coach Perry Fewell will also be given the opportunity to win the full-time job, according to the report. Other candidates include Florida Tuskers coach Jim Haslett, New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride and Montreal Alouettes coach Marc Trestman.

DO NOT GET AN OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. no matter what happens at the end of the season. Give Fewell his defensive job back and sign a real coach for gods sake. Thats the Bills have sucked. Ralph Wilsons gotta wake up. Wade Phillips, Gregg Williams, Mularky, and Jauron were all coordinators when we signed them. DO NOT SIGN COORDINATORS!!!! Get us a real fricken head coach! GOD!

Though Fewell is a candidate for next season, Wilson said he's open to making a lucrative offer to land a high-profile coach.

"It's not about money, it's about winning," Wilson said by phone from his home in suburban Detroit.

Bills owner tells AP big changes could be coming : Bills & NFL : The Buffalo News (http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/billsnfl/story/867064.html - broken link)

Quote #1: Names such as Cowher and Holmgren come to my mind.

Quote #2: Make no mistake... It is ALWAYS about the money. Money = Winning. Just look at the Yankees for proof of that.

This is a start, but there is an insane ammount of work ahead for this franchise.
