With mentions of early retirement in his past, and the debacle of his current opening day start as well as the reports of his "well being"....who sees Vince Young retiring prior to the end of this season?

This guy is a headcase. A nutjob. And he's the worst QB in the NFL in terms of passer rating. Talk about an overdrafted guy - I called it, too (to a friend obsessed with U. TX football).

This guy is so sensitive!! He needs to toughen up mentally. He's a great athlete but lets his emotions and his sensitivity get in the way.......

Do you believe how his mama asked for sympathy? Nobody is going to be sympatheic to a crybaby who makes more $$$$ than most people will ever see in their lives. Making that kind of paper, you gotta get used to folks not liking you.

It's hard going from the top of the heap to being booed by the home crowd. But that's sports.......especially pro football. I think the one good thing to come from this is that he is showing a passion for the game, albeit one that is causing him strife, and that it's not just about the scratch he is making. Can we say another Madden curse coming true for Vince...again

I don't know the whole situation, so I think it's best to say I hope he gets well and finds a way to get through whatever is troubling him. When it comes to football though I think the Titans are probably a better team at this point in time with Kerry Collins as the QB, he's nowhere near as mobile as Vince Young but I think he opens up that offense more and fits that system better.

U. TX sure produces some crazy football players. In addition to the aforementioned Young, Exhibit B is Cedric Benson.
