given the Bears and Vikings propensity of wheezing to the finish line come December, along with the Packers of doing just the opposite, there really is no doubt who will be winning this division and who will be battling for a wild card

The real beauty of division games, everything else goes out the window. Can't call it that is for sure, have to wait & see!

I really don't know what that is based upon other than a rash of horrible injuries to the Bears last season which is part of football. I mean, what happens if Rogers breaks a leg next week and the Packs playoff hopes fail? Say they wheezed to the finish line?

No doubt? lmao....2 games back of the Bears whom has a weak schedule. The bottom line is that if the pack doesn't win in Chicago, they will need a near miracle to win the division just going strictly by the standings and remaining schedule. That game will decide the division winner IMO.

Aaron was in rare form today. He was asked about the current record (and everyone comparing it to 2010), he chimes in and says oh, yeah, the Giants won the World Series in 2010, too! The guy is too funny sometimes.

Barf

MM shouldn't even get a paycheck for that week of "work". It's been a long time since I've been this disgusted after a win.

And so were the players. I read the transcript over at Packers.com and McCarthy wasn't happy, also with himself either in terms of play calling. Direct from the website:

McCarthy didn’t like the energy of his Green Bay Packers at times, and apparently didn’t like it at all on Monday.

“Let’s quit walking around like we lost the damn game,” McCarthy said of his message to the players to conclude Monday’s team meeting. “We’re 5-3 whether you like it or not, and we’re going to get better. That’s where we’re going.”

They SHOULD be hanging their heads as if they lost. Efforts like that aren't acceptable, and I don't like McCarthy trying to talk over those in his locker room who realize that. That he isn't royally pissed bothers me.

Well, reached the bye week 6-3. Now we'll see if they can get some players back, past these darn injuries and ready for the stretch run. Five out of seven are division games, and I would prefer them to be considered as "must" wins!

Go Pack Go! Beat those Lions, I'll be out of town, won't be able to watch that game, hope they win, no more injuries!

Ugly, beautiful win at Detroit yesterday. Rodgers was off, but Cobb, Finley, and the increasingly fantastic young secondary came up huge. 7-3 going into a huge Sunday night game against the Giants. Some revenge would be nice.

Revenge would be awesome! I'm a little concerned with the Oline, need to step up and protect Rodgers so he has time in the pocket. They need to be a complete team cranking up the running game, too. Wonder how close Cedric Benson is to coming back?
