Well, I'd say the honeymoon is over for Rodgers. Tampa ate him up today. Not a pretty game. He played good against Minnesota and Detroit, but so far against higher caliber teams, he's struggling. I'm hoping he shakes it off quickly. I think my biggest concern is Ryan Grant though. Outside of a 54yd run against Minnesota opening night, he hasn't even looked mediocre. 15 rushes for 20 yards? Will be a long year if he can't turn things around.
It's his first year starting so I think a few shabby games against top caliber teams can be expected. Your not going to expect him to fire on all cylinders against the top teams just yet. Things will be good for the Packers in years to come I feel.
unfortunately we play Atlanta so what kind of test is that? I am also upset at Thompson for essentially trading Cory Williams for the 2nd round pick Brain Brohm, who cant beat out a 7th round pick. The Past two weeks show we could have used him vs the run.
I live in Irving, so I have to deal with Cowboys fans constantly. The only way I've been able to explain our loss is by telling them the game was the debut of our swiss cheese defensive line and that now after 2 unsuccessful weeks, we are looking to go back to a different line with no holes in it.

i knew tampa would beat the packers because that is the best D Rodgers has ever faced (which isn't saying much but still a fact) he struggled accordingly.
how much of a test is ATL? well, let's put it this way. the Packers can't stop any team's rushing attack (green bay has a horrible run defense) and the Falcons have Michael Turner...don't sleep on ATL.
I think I need to adjust my prediction for the Packers to 8-8 and probably 2nd in the division. (Bears are heading into a softer stretch in their schedule)
Whomever was still claiming they are top 2 in the NFC, that dream has just ended.
He really was just a pass rush specialist and his numbers dropped off alot. Still the guy was a class act even after they cut him he showed class, unlike a certain QB we got rid off.
When you can't punch it in you settle for three. Could've turned out a lot differently.
Still, taking the Titans to overtime and being 4-4 at the season's midpoint - really, it could be a lot worse.
For once I was actually rooting for the Lions to beat the Bears. 27-23 Chicago. Bears in first place at 5-3 in the North.
