Default The Thread of Titans

Vince is gone with an injury and mental issue, Collins is in and looking good, the Titans are (2-0).....

Will this be a rollercoaster season? Will the Titans make it to the playoffs? Will the real Tennessee Titans fans pleas stand up?

I'll jump on this bandwagon. Smack dab in between Cowboys land, Chiefs and Rams loservilles, and Nashville, I'm gonna spread the love over TN way. Is there room for an Arkie Titan's fan in here??

Tennesse plays Houston up next.
The Old Houston team vs. the New Houston team.
This might be a win for the Titans mainly because of Ike and also because the Titans seem to have rallied around Kerry Collins. I don't know about the state of mind of the Texans.

I'm not necessarily a fan of the titans...I am looking for a team to call my own though. IMO, Collins should stay the starter, at least until the titans can get a better passer than vince. And yes I think they will make the playoffs.

and it continues! 7-0. The only flaw for this team are those light blue uniforms, I always liked their darker blue uni's better.

A convincing Monday Night win over the Colts, the Titans are the only undefeated team in the Leauge, and they're just 3 wins away from clinching a playoff spot.

Not a bad start, huh?

Every time I think of the Titans, I think back to the dark ages when the Titans/Oilers were replacing coaches every other year after the Oilers initial three appearances in the old AFL championship games. Bum Philips came along in '75 and took them to three AFC championship games and was promptly fired for not going to the Super Bowl by owner Bud Adams.

It is hard to believe that a coach can last the amount of years as Jeff Fisher has with the notion of win right now or else the way the NFL is these days. Fisher has 15 years , Mike Shanahan right behind with 14. Jeff Fisher, IMO, has been one of the best coaches in the league for years and he is proving it this year.
