For a number 1 draft pick who is heading down the road to Ryan Leafdom, he sure is talking a lot of trash for not having lived up to his paycheck nor his hype:

Quote:
TAKEN FROM ESPN As Reggie Bush ran a punt back 55 yards to put New Orleans up 24-15 over Washington at the end of the third quarter, he pointed at Redskins defenders and taunted them. Reggie, didn't you learn your lesson when you taunted the Bears during the 2006 NFC Championship Game, and the Saints promptly collapsed? Following Sunday's taunt, the Saints promptly collapsed, and the Skins came back to prevail 29-24.

I remember all the crap the texans took when they picked mario williams ahead of bush. bush is a decent receiver, but he sucks as a running back. to be a good running back out of USC, you either have to be marcus allen, or you have to murder your wife.

Bush should be a WR.

Ummm...he has scored each week so far this season and leads the team in rushing, receiving, and punt returns. What more should he do? Kick field goals?

Mario Williams (DE) was selected first overall by the Texans. Bush went second, FYI.

that's what I said. I remember the texans getting crap for picking williams ahead of bush, but it looks like it was a great decision.

Amen! He's a complete moron!! I'm still waiting for him to get "jacked up" by a quality defender going across the middle, maybe then he'll shut his pie hole! I wish a Redskin had gotten him, if we still had Lavar Arrington, he would have ended up on "got jacked up", do you remember that segment on the Monday night pregame show?

2 weeks in 3 years does not a great pick make. Let's see it consistently over time before pointing and taunting.

If you are referring to the OP, he or she just called him a number one pick, which he was. He did not say he was first overall, just a that he was a number one pick. He was the Saints' no. 1 pick.
