Given the success the Falcons and Dolphins have had so far this year after a terrible year last year, there's no reason why the 0-16 Lions can't go 8-8 next year. Odds are they'll be losers again, but with proper leadership, they too can make a big turn around.

That's funny.

I was thinking the same thing. In fact, last year, for a while, it looked like 16-0 and 0-16 could happen the same year and division! But too bad the Dolphins won a game. I don't think anyone w/ a losing record ever made the playoffs, but it's mathematically possible.

In my opinion, it's easier for a team to go 0-16 than it is to go 16-0. Nevertheless, I knew the Lions could do it, and they did. Should make for an interesting NFL Draft.

With their #1 pick, the Lions should draft someone who will be ready to contribute right away rather than someone who leaves college early and would still need some development.
