Who's in:
1)New York Giants (1 seed, get the bye, home-field throughout)
2) Carolina Panthers ( could get the #2 or #5 seed)
3)Arizona (LOL)
4)Falcons ( could be the #2 or #5 seed)

Still alive
Minnesota
Philly
Dallas
Chicago
Tampa Bay

Who'd you rather play and why? Trash talk, cool. Discussing different scenarios, ok.

I'm just a Falcons supporter and I'd like to see us get get the bye and rest up a little. If Carolina handles the Aints I would love to see them go to Arizona and show them guys how football is played. I don't really want Atlanta to go to their dome again but I would take that over going to Chicago (who's average but they're used to that weather)...on the flip side Matt did play in the elements in Boston.

I said earlier before the season the season began that Arizona should be a contender for a playoff spot, looks like I called that right. I hope Dallas makes the playoffs and at least get by round 1 and....(uh oh, I hear the boos coming my way).......

I hope Philly beats Dallas and Tampa handle Oakland to get in. I like the Falcons chances more if Philly or Dallas are out of the way.

I am a Giants fan. The one team I don't want to have to face in the playoffs is Dallas. Ravens loss notwithstanding last week, I think the Cowboys would give us a lot of problems. I don't care if the game is in the Meadowlands, I think our defense is very vulnerable right now, and the Cowboys passing game would take us down.

If the Pats go 11-5 and miss the playoffs, I'll be quite bitter. Like the fans of the '85 Broncos.

The NFC is a joke. There seems to be no true, standout team that will just take it all. Even the Giants, without Plaxico, they have loss their superhuman status. There's no receiver on their team that deserves double coverage. If you can stop the run, you have a chance to beat the Giants.

I'm a Philly fan, but I don't want them to go. I want them to tie again, so that we can get rid of that pig Andy Reid. He's such a proud, bullheaded coach. You can't pass the ball all the time, and it seems like he does that when they are in a pinch. And I wish McNabb would grow some testicles and call some audibles. He's been around 10 years- should know the game and have the guts to switch up that trash Reid throws out!

Only because they play in a miserably bad division. Put them in other divisions in the NFC or the AFC, and they'd have no shot. What is hard for me to take is that the Patriots (who took the Cardinals apart like schoolgirls) may end up on the sidelines at 10-6 or 11-5, while the mediocre and losing trend Cardinals get in at either 8-8 or 9-7. They're the "Dodgers of the NFL" in this year's playoffs. They're in the playoffs because they are the least sucky in a sucky division....period.

That's the beauty of the NFL though...You have to be tough, especially tough in your division. You can bank half a season if you are a strong team in a weak division.
