I predicted a Giants-Steelers Supberbowl at the end of pre-season and I'm sticking to it. The Eagles are good, and capable of beating the Giants, but it's playoff time and the Giants' recent loss to the Vikings will make New York too tough to beat. The Eagles are hot right now, but the Cowboys and Vikings are no NY Giants.
i'm picking my team, the giants, but i won't be totally surprised if the eagles win. i'm actually pretty nervous about this weekend's game.
during the final weeks of the regular season, i was really hoping that both the eagles and the cowboys would get eliminated from playoff contention. no matter what the records and seedings are, i absolutely hate facing divisional opponents in the playoffs - there's simply too much familiarity with each others' players and schemes, meaning that there's more chance of an upset.
i was really pulling for the vikings to win this past weekend, as that would've meant that the giants would've faced the cardinals on sunday. arizona would've been a much more favorable matchup than philly.
I think the score will be close for most of the game until the domination of the Giants begins to show and wear down the Iggles. Going with the GMEN by 8, 27-19 ...
And Calico, Eli may trip on his skirt and throw a pick BUT will be irrevelant to when McFumble starts loosing the ball and TUCK drills him from the back side
Eagles will win....they're on the upswing while the Giants have been going downhill. If the Giants still had Plax, they might win.
The Giants got to where they are with their Offensive Line, Defense, Running the Ball and they still move it around very well to all the other receivers. Watch for Boss to have a big game! Plax doesn't make em' or break em' ...
